Getting the job done and done right—that’s always been the major thrust of Rose’s career.  Even before graduation from Wayne State University (with a German/Journalism degree) she worked as a journalist in the construction and banking fields.  Later, she served in editorial posts for the Florists’ Transworld Delivery Association, while organizing meetings and presentations as well as forecasting trends.  Then, as Director of Public Relations for a mid-size advertising agency, Rose worked on successful efforts for a leather jacket manufacturer, suburban newspapers, hotels, travel and trade and contractor associations.  Starting Szwed Communications, Inc. in 1993, Rose has brought her strong organizational and implementing skills to bear for an ever-growing list of clients.  Always a striver, she’s also attended the University of Vienna and is competent in both German and Italian.
